Henry Arnold with Plexy III

This robot is based on the Leaf robot design.

It uses an Atom-based min ITX computer in a housing used for car computers.

Henry Arnold with Cricket 2. Henry designed this as a cost effective alternative for his Cricket 1 design, which costs more than $200 in parts. This Cricket 2 design takes about $60 in parts. This makes it a viable platform for outreach programs for kids.

Phil demonstrates PhilBot 1.

It is inspired by the BoeBot platform. It uses an Arduino. It currently has a simple "Seek & Beep" program.

Bob Huss with Trashcan robot. He built this in 1985 from a Trashcan. The optics are housed in a PVC pipe. It runs on a Z80- processor.

The audience chose Plexi III by Henry Arnold as the best overal robot.
