Educational Software
MOdular Distributed Watershed Educational Toolbox (MOD-WET)
MOD-WET is a modular set of over 50 functions, coded in MATLAB, that are integrated into a fully-distributed watershed model. As a toolbox, the functions can be utilized to understand the water cycle using a process-based approach. The MOD-WET model integrates these individual functions together to represent watershed processes and interactions. MOD-WET lends itself to studying real or synthetic watersheds. It can highlight both qualitative and quantitative hydrological concepts that are suitable for a number of hands-on activities.
