Global Snow Drought Data Set
This data set contains information about snow droughts (or deficits in snow water equivalent, SWE) and their characteristics (e.g., duration and intensity) across the globe. The snow drought information is derived using SWE from the MERRA-2 global reanalysis beginning in 1980. The data set and snow drought characteristics were derived using by using an approach for standardizing data as described in Huning and AghaKouchak (2020a).

Sierra Nevada (USA) Snow Water Equivalent (SWE) Volume Time Series
This data set contains 1 April snow water equivalent (SWE) volumes for Sierra Nevada, USA. Time series for the Sierra Nevada domain and the northern and southern regions of the mountain range were derived by merging information from snow courses and a snow reanalysis as described in Huning and AghaKouchak (2020b).
