Digital Cameras
We currently have 10 digital cameras.  There are two Sony Mavica cameras--both use floppy drives OR memory sticks to save images.  Operation of these  is fairly straightforward.  We also have 8 DGX brand cameras--these are much smaller and also use memory cards to save images.  They can also take short video clips.  While these are also fairly easy to use, there is a bit of a learning curve, as they don’t use a simple ‘point and shoot’ set up.  Several laminated direction sheets have been created to helps students figure out how to use the cameras.  (Typically, once they’ve used them once, they are comfortable with them.)  You can download a copy of the direction sheet for your files by clicking here.
