Short Biography

Wenlu Zhang is currently an assistant professor of Computer Engineering and Computer Science at California State University Long Beach. She leads Deep Learning Lab (LBDL) at CSULB. Before joinging CSULB, she was a post-doc in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Washington State University. Zhang obtained her Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from Old Dominion University in 2016, advised by Prof. Shuiwang Ji. Her research interests include machine learning, data mining, computational biology, and computational neuroscience.
