Predictive Analytics (Sabbatical 2017)

The University Library has never fully assessed our information literacy program for its impact on student learning. This project will establish a benchmark for the current efforts of the library and develop a draft information literacy assessment plan using curriculum analysis and predictive metrics to address the addition of information literacy as a primary or secondary essential skill in the General Education Curriculum. 

Library Videos (CSULB Alumni Grant 2016)

Expanding our Library Fast FAQs videos will also increase our reach to the many students who don’t have the opportunity or time to seek the information in person. Point of need instruction is vital for our commuter population and the unique student body who include students who attend CSULB while working full time. Being available to students when they most need library instruction meets a need that increases exponentially with the growth of online resources. Special thanks to the Alumni Association for allowing this project to continue.
