Talent contest

The club organizes a talent contest every year.

The rules are simple:

1) anyone can show up and present a robotics-related project that they did

2) everyone in the audience gives 4 scores, each between 1 and 10:

          - a score for the project merits on electronics

          - a score for the project merits on mechanics

          - a score for the project merits on software

          - a score for the project merits on project originality

3) the 3 scores for electronics, mechanics and software are added to a single score. This yields an appreciation for the technical quality of the project

4) all the audience scores are summed for each contestant

5) the score for project originality is graded separately.
5) there are 2 winners:
            - technical  quality
            - most original project

A project does not have to have all 3 aspects (electronics, mechanics, software) to compete, but it helps to get a good overall score. E.g. your project can be a robotics-related software application (e.g. a simulator or vision application) or it can be only electronics (e.g. a new controller board) or purely mechanical or any other combination.
Your project can use an COTS robot (e.g. LEGO or VEX) and your contribution can be the software.
But it must be something you contributed to. So no off-the-shelf robot with no modifications.
