Minesweeper January 2001

Our RSSC club in Fullerton used to collaborate with the SDRS robot club in San Diego, which does not exist anymore. In 2001, a Minesweeper contest was held (a sort of line-following contest). Here are some pictures from the archives:

Wall Following May 2007

A contest was held with students (and teacher) from Mt. San Antonio community college. The contest was a wall following contest using an arena proposed by the students.

We announced a minisumo competition for our February 2010 meeting, and I think people must have mistakenly understood it to be an MINI Minisumo competition, because only 2 bots showed up, and one of them wasn't even a regular RSSC member. A 10 year old girl showed up with her dad and a LEGO MIndstorm robot, and ... she beat the pants of our club representative.
