Special Collections contains:

• University Archives chronicle CSULB history including the daily 49er, meeting transcripts, yearbooks and more.
• Rare books and manuscripts and letters from well known authors to local historical figures and more.
• Images from the Fine Art Collection
• Writings by CSULB faculty

Children's Collection-The Library has over 20,000 children's books including all of the award winning books such as the Caldecott and Newbery.

Masback Science Fiction Collection-With over 3000 fantasy, science fiction and horror books this can be a great resources for academic or pleasure reading.
