• How did the student lab turn out?
• They did k=4 but among the group, 5 clusters emerged
• Detail is lost: Basalt swamps a lot of the variation; neutral aqueous is lost
• Suggestion: Use higher K requests and then regroup manually to be able to capture variation in fewer categories
