Travel Grants Available
Travel grants of $150 each (or $50 for students who live in the Los Angeles
area) are available for students who present papers or posters at the Long
Beach Meeting. You do not have to be entered in the paper/poster competition
to be eligible for a travel grant. Presenting a paper is enjoyable,
academically stimulating, and students can receive valuable feedback on their
research. Travel grants are designed to encourage student participation by
helping with some of the costs. Grants will be made on a random drawing of all
applications received by September 15, 2007, up to a limit of $3,000. To
access documents describing the competition, the application process, how to
format your abstract, and how to apply for travel grants, click on your
