GEOG 140: Weekly Journal Topics
Introduction to Physical Geography
Sites to Visit and Journal:
How do you journal? Simply write down the name of the resource you're visiting and the due date, together with your name (always helpful!). Then, wander around the site and jot down the main purpose of the site, what seems interesting to you, how it relates to the class, and even your reactions to what you're visiting. You can just write down bullet statements or paragraphs. Keep it short (please don't go over a page unless you just can't help yourself): You are basically trying to convince me you did visit the site and wander around a few of its links and thought about the issues it raises. And I won't even mark your writing mechanics (but be careful not to plagiarize!).You can turn them in in hard copy on Mondays (handwritten is okay IF you write neatly) or, better, in BeachBoard's Digital Drop Box.
