Helium Inflation Equipment

Inflation with helium gas.
The regulator is a single stage unit with the cylinder valve fitting sized for helium cylinders. The regulator fittings are rated for oxygen and have anti siphon features as well as a higher level of quality control than similar equipment that is designed for helium use. The green tubing connecting the regulator to the hand valve is rated at 200 psi far surpassing the regulators low pressure side of 15 psi maximum. The design of this system allows the regulator to be open even while changing balloons or nozzles. The hand valve terminates in a quick release gas fitting allowing rapid changeover between nozzle systems.
The system is completed with two nozzle systems. A 30/100 gram nozzle - Left, and a 10 gram nozzle Right (with the red tubing). The 30/100 gram nozzle is the calibrated to 139 grams for 30 gram balloons (NWS 30 gram daytime helium) without the addition of extra weights.
The 30/100 gram balloon nozzle requires a valve so that the hose can be removed from the nozzle and some gas vented to assure an exact 139 gram free lift. Due to the stiffness of hose of this diameter, the free lift is not practically obtained with the hose connected.
