    Brief Biography of Amit Schitai  

    Amit Schitai, a native Israeli, has been teaching Hebrew as a second/foreign language for over twenty years. He taught students from all over the world at the School of Overseas Students at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. He has also taught in various American academic institutions, including the University of Michigan, Hebrew Union College, and the University of Southern California. He has developed Hebrew curricula for various media delivery, including award-winning interactive multimedia courseware aimed at the development of oral communication skills in intermediate level courses. He has also developed curriculum concepts for Hebrew in Communication Media classes, as well as for a one day Hebrew Crash Course. After completing graduate work at the University of Michigan, he taught Classical Hebrew courses, including a comparative analysis of Mordern and Ancient Hebrew.
