CSULB Students--Undergraduate:

If you are a matriculated student (either officially admitted to and/or registered at CSULB), you should register during regular student pre-registration, just as you do for your regular courses. There is no extra charge beyond your normal fees for the spring semester.

Philosophy 361-Section 1: #15125: Philosophy of Art and Beauty - 3 units

CSULB Students-Graduate:

If you are a matriculated graduate student, you should register during regular student pre-registration for this course, just as you do for your regular courses. There is no extra charge beyond your normal fees for the spring semester.

Philosophy 599-Section 8: #15150: Graduate Tutorial - 3 units

Other Students - Undergraduate:

You may take this course for University Academic credit through Open University, University College & Extension Services. This option is not available to matriculated CSULB Students. CSULB cannot guarantee that your home institution will accept these units toward your degree. If you enroll in an undergraduate degree program at CSULB in the future, up to 24 units earned through Open University may be applied to your degree. The full cost for this course will be $435.

  1. Send the instructor an e-mail message as soon as you decide to take the course, but no later than January 26, so that you are included in all e-mail distributions for the class: jvancamp@csulb.edu
  2. Obtain an Open University form: These are available beginning January 26, 1998. Either (a) pick one up in person at the UCES Registration window (6300 State University Drive, Long Beach) or (b) send me an e-mail message with a complete mailing address no later than January 25, and we will mail one to you.
  3. Complete the form to register for Philosophy 361 (Section 1): #15125: Philosophy of Art and Beauty - 3 units. You do not need to obtain signatures from the instructor or the department, as we are waiving this step.
  4. Mail or fax the form to UCES so that it is received no later than February 23, 1998, with your payment (either check or credit card).

Other Students - Graduate:

You may take this course for University Academic credit through Open University, University College & Extension Services. This option is not available to matriculated CSULB Students.
