Brandon Cook

Brandon Cook – a wonderful mix, unique in LBCF's experience. He is from Birmingham Alabama ,with a widely diversified education ranging from 2 years at conservative Wheaton College.  From there he moved to Mexico for a time and then went to liberal Brandeis University where he studied History and Near Eastern and Judaic Studies and for a time lived in Israel.  Brandon's last stop was Oriel College, Oxford to get his Masters degree in Ancient Jewish History.  Returning to Birmingham after grad school he worked as a storyteller.

We're excited about Brandon joining us as our College age pastor.  His vision for himself as well as his group is that the love of God will be manifested in caring, honest communication, in courageous pursuit of faith, and in fun.

Brandon enjoys being with friends and family, he likes being outside, traveling, reading and writing and ballroom dancing.  He loves independent movies and off-beat songs like the one about the armless artist with articulate feet.
